A key event for those with an interest in building the skills and capacity of the workforce to deliver the Aiming High for Young People Ten Year Strategy for positive activities. Government has promised to ‘transform facilities and support services for young people in England’. This event provides senior managers in services for young people with a chance to hear current government thinking and explores the most up to date ideas on developing a workforce that can help young people to achieve their fullest potential. Speakers include: Cllr Les Lawrence, Chair, Children and Young People Board, Local Government Association; Fiona Blacke, Chief Executive, The National Youth Agency; David Hunter, Chief Executive, Lifelong Learning UK; Jane Haywood, Chief Executive, Children’s Workforce Development Council; Kevin Ford, Chief Executive, FPM Training; and Leora Cruddas, Head of Education for Communities, London Borough of Waltham Forest.
